SIEWERT BRIDGE ™ SMART CAD/CAM PROSTHETIC SOLUTION ON IMPLANTS

INNOVATIVE

The SIEWERT BRIDGE was specially developed for the particular requirements of implant-supported dentures. It is a modular system based on innovative material combinations. The foundation are standard commercial multi-unit abutments. The SIEWERT BRIDGE can therefore be used on practically all implant systems. The bridge framework consists of pure, unfilled polyetheretherketone (PEEK), a high-performance polymer, precision-milled, metal-free, biocompatible and light as a feather. The SIEWERT BRIDGE is the quintessence of modern CAD / CAM techniques and innovative material combinations and allows the industrial manufacturing of absolutely individual bridges of the highest quality and wearing comfort.

PASSIV FIT ASSURANCE

Every work step during the entire workflow can possibly contain a hidden error. This starts with taking the impression on the patient, then with the production of the model as well as with the milling process. Due to the materials used in the SIEWERT BRIDGE, a passive fit is guaranteed despite the slight inaccuracies. How is that possible? The modulus of elasticity of unfilled PEEK as the base carrier material lies in the area of the cancellous bone. Due to the special veneering of the PEEK bridge framework with ceramic single crowns, the finished SIEWERT BRIDGE has a certain elasticity, which allows to compensate for inaccuracies in the tenths of a millimeter range. In other words; when the bridge is screwed on, it is pulled onto the multi-unit abutments without compressive or tensile forces being generated on the implant - bone interface.

B. SIEWERT, DDS, PHD, PRACTITIONER AND DEVELOPER

Since 2008 I have been working intensively on improving implant-supported dentures. The professional use of the high-performance polymer PEEK plays a key role. PEEK has been used as a metal substitute in human medicine for many years and also opens up new possibilities and concepts for metal-free dentures in dental technology through the use of digital manufacturing processes. Only these innovations have made the SIEWERT BRIDGE possible in its current form. Our own clinical experience over the past 5 years confirms the uniqueness of this treatment concept. More and more dental laboratories, dentists and patients are using the SIEWERT BRIDGE and are enthusiastic about the advantages compared to other concepts.
